C.O.P.E Program

C.O.P.E. (Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience)
Griffith League Scout Ranch
Near Bastrop, Texas
Program for: Co-ed youth 14 years and older, adults

This exciting program teaches important lessons, but the classroom is like no other. C.O.P.E. uses mental and physical challenges, low and high above ground to teach confidence, self-esteem, trust, leadership, team building and problem solving. Participants climb, swing, balance, jump, and think of solutions to a variety of activities (Most do much more than they thought they could!) You don’t have to be muscle-bound to enjoy C.O.P.E.; there are parts of the course for everyone. Setting and achieving goals are what’s emphasized, not time or score. Participants talk about what happened after most of the activities, to learn from the experience. Day and weekend programs are offered.
