DOK's Tower

DOK’s Tower
Lost Pines Boy Scout Camp (on the LCRA Lost Pines Scout Reservation)
Program for: Cub Scout packs, Boy Scout troops, Venture crews

Climbing has become one of the fastest growing extreme outdoor adventures, and the Capitol Area Council is a leader in this thrilling program area with DOK’s Tower. You won’t find anything like it anywhere in our great state. The tallest man-made climbing tower in Texas is located at Lost Pines Boy Scout Camp, on the LCRA Lost Pines Scout Reservation near Bastrop. Scouts can learn something new about themselves on every trip to DOK’s tower, by choosing different challenge levels each time. This “challenge by choice” system makes it possible for all young people to enjoy this unique program, whether they are just getting started in Cub Scouts or 18-year-old Venturers.
