Chaplain Training

The Capitol Area Council's Chaplain training program is focused on providing the best trained and motivated adult leaders, volunteers and youth members to help Scouts uphold their Duty to God from the Scout Oath, and the 12th point of the Scout Law: A Scout is Reverent. A big part of that program is Scouting's religious awards program, which offers more than 75 awards representing 35 faiths.

In this section you'll find important training information for your unit's Chaplain, Chaplain Aid and other adult leaders - as well as information to promote Scouting's religious awards.
