National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT)
For: Boy Scouts, Varsity Scouts or Venturers (male and female) who meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 13 years old and a first class Scout by the first day of the course or will be at least 14 years old and registered in a Venturing Crew
- Not be 18 years old before the last day of the course if a Boy Scout or Varsity Scout or 21 years old if a Venturer
- Hold, or intend to hold, a unit leadership position
National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is a six day, five night course that gives Boy Scouts, Varsity Scouts and Venturers methods, skills and experiences to become better leaders in their unit. The course centers around the concepts of what a leader must be, what he/she must know, and what he/she must do – with a clear focus on how to accomplish all this. NYLT courses are limited to 48 participants.

How do I reserve a spot?
Registration for the Winter 2010 NYLT course is on-line.
When you click the link below to register, you will be taken to a calendar and will see the event "National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) 2010 Winter Course". Click on this event and either log-in if you already have an on-line registration account or click "I'm a new user" to create an account.
Once logged in, you will see information for the NYLT course. At the bottom of the page, select the number of Scouts you wish to register, and click the continue button. Fill in all requested information on the next few screens in order to register for NYLT.
Once you have successfully registered, you will receive a confirmation page and email with additional information. Please read this confirmation as it contains information on submitting your deposit/payment and getting approval signatures required to attend NYLT.
