Wilderness First Aid

Wilderness First Aid
For: Units and Leaders involved in High Adventure or wilderness camping

Learn how to handle emergency medical problems with triage skills that can buy time for help to arrive, and save lives. The course was originally designed by a chapter of the American Red Cross for organizations in the Appalachian Mountains. This terrific course involves camping overnight, and is highly recommended for any unit and its leaders before getting involved in wilderness camping.
