Climbing Program and C.O.P.E.

DOK's Tower

DOK's Tower is the tallest climbing tower in Texas, and the centerpiece of our council's climbing program. It operates during Boy Scout Summer Camp and during other weekend events during the year. Troops, Teams, Crews and Ships can reserve the Tower for use during weekend camping - but only if the Scout unit has an adult leader who is BSA-certified as a Climbing Instructor.

C.O.P.E.

C.O.P.E. (Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience) uses mental and physical challenges, low and high above ground to teach confidence, self-esteem, trust, leadership, team building and problem solving. C.O.P.E. participants climb, swing, balance, jump and think of solutions to a variety of activities.
