Special Partner: The Blood Center of Central Texas

Every year in our council and across the country, Scouts save lives. Our special partner, The Blood Center of Central Texas, allows anyone to save a life.

Our partnership started in 2010 during the 100th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America, when our Scouts, volunteers and families donated or helped secure donations for nearly 200 gallons of blood.

Hold a Blood Drive with your unit/district

This partnership speaks to the Scout Motto, "Be Prepared". Hospitals require a steady and healthy blood supply in order to be prepared year-round to handle emergencies. You can help by conducting a blood drive anytime during the year at your unit's regular meeting, your district roundtable or at a different time at your chartering organization.
