Our council is planning a special reception for the Eagle Scout Class of 2011 on Saturday, February 18, from 1:30pm-3:00pm at the Frank Fickett Scout Training and Service Center.  I am requesting your assistance to promote this event to the 2011 Eagle Scouts in your troop, team, crew or ship.
 
Specifically, I am asking you to contact the Scouts who earned their Eagle Scout rank in your unit last year, provide them with the On My Honor flyer (CLICK HERE) and encourage them to attend this special event.  Each Eagle Scout attending will be recognized and will receive a special commemorative coin from one of the dignitaries shaking his hand when he is recognized on the stage. The planned program for this event is:
 
1:00-1:30pm   Gathering: photo ops, meet and greet, check-in
1:30-2:45pm   Program: speakers, recognize Eagle Scouts, present Eagle Scouts with special coin for this event, unveil 2011 Eagle Scout names on the Eagle Wall
2:45pm           Reception: snacks and more photo ops
 
For additional information about this event, please visit our council website at bsacac.org/eaglereception. There is no registration for this event. The Scout needs to check-in when he arrives that day to receive his name card for the ceremony.
