Our council is pleased to provide all Scouting families an opportunity to hear two presentations that can help keep your children safe as they grow older, experience peer pressure and are confronted with the dangers of alcohol abuse.

Representatives from Mothers Against Drunk Driving will offer "Power of Parents" and "Choices and Consequences" on Saturday, August 25, 2012 from 1pm to 5pm at the Frank Fickett Scout Training and Service Center.

"Power of Parents" is a 30 minute presentation that gives parents some best practices about how to begin the discussion with their children about underage drinking.

"Choices and Consequences" is a 45 minute presentation that helps educate kids in an age-appropriate manner about the dangers of alcohol abuse. Appropriate ages range from 3rd Grade to High School.

Please RSVP your attendance (including number of children and their ages) to rachel.ramos@scouting.org
