Youth Protection Training and Policies

The Boy Scouts of America places the greatest importance on creating the most secure environment possible for our youth members. To maintain such an environment, the BSA developed numerous procedural and leadership selection policies and provides parents and leaders with resources for the Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Venturing programs.

Special Event

Our inaugural Unit Youth Protection Champions Symposium will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 10am-Noon at the Frank Fickett Scout Training and Service Center. This FREE event will help empower your Unit Youth Protection Champion and other adult leaders with resources to help make your youth safe in and out of Scouting.
