Fickett Center Rentals for Scouting Units
The Fickett Center is a tobacco-free, alcohol-free and drug-free facility that offers 4,400 square feet of beautiful rental space for up to 300 people total over its rooms/plazas. The center is ideal for meetings, trainings and Unit gatherings. We are conveniently located at the corner of Parmer Lane and IH35 at 12500 N IH 35, Austin, TX 78753
Rental Space Details
The building consists of six rooms, two outdoor plazas and open reception area. Scouting Units may request use of the facility for events such as Blue & Gold, Court of Honor, Eagle Court of Honor, training, popcorn events, etc. Space is reserved from 11:00am to 3:00pm or 5:00pm t 9:00pm. Lock-ins and overnight activities are not permitted.
To request the use of the facility, Unit Leaders must complete a Unit Facility Request form. To begin click your District from the list at the bottom of this page. Submission of the form does not guarantee a reservations. Forms are sent to the District Executive prior to processing.

Costs and Responsibilities
- Rental fees are $50 for the first room and $25 for each additional room
- Each room comes with 24 rectangular tables and 48 chairs
- Units are responsible for set up, take down and clean up of their event
- Units are responsible for any damages to the building and/or furniture
- Units must complete a pre-event and post-event inspection form (to be left in the facility’s drop box)
- Failure to submit completed inspection forms, return A/V equipment to the proper place or return furniture to its original set up will result in a $150 fee charged to the credit card used for confirming your reservation
- Catering must be ordered from one of the vendors on our preferred caterers list. The following item may be provided without use of caterers: packaged snacks, salads, cold platters, party trays, fruits, desserts and drinks. Red drinks, crock pots, fryers and grills are not permitted on site.
