Special Partner: A+ Federal Credit Union
We are proud to have A+ Federal Credit Union as a special program partner. Its generosity has included financial support and sponsorship of several Scouting programs, including the Report to State and Scout Parade, Fall Join Scouting Night recruiting campaign, and most recently, sponsor of our 2020 Virtual Day Camp program.
A+FCU’s youth financial education team has registered as merit badge counselors for Personal Management Merit Badge. Their team offers multiple classes each year, and parents are welcome to attend with their Scout. Just like with any other merit badge, Scouts need to get approval from their Scoutmaster before starting this class.
A+FCU has also extended a special benefit to all Scouting families: your membership in the Capitol Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, makes you eligible for credit union membership as well. Units may also consider opening a unit account at A+FCU or moving an existing account to A+FCU.
Visit this page on the A+FCU website to learn about A+FCU’s support of Scouting, upcoming Personal Management classes, and more.
