Donating uniforms, equipment

Uniforms

The Steve Matthews Scout Shop maintains a collection of gently-used uniforms that can find new life with active Scouts in need. If you have Scout uniforms that you/your child has outgrown or are no longer using, you may contact the Shop at cacshop@scouting.org or call (512) 617-8630 to arrange to drop off these items.

  • If you are in need of a Scout uniform but cost is a barrier, please see the Uniform Assistance section of our Financial Help page for instructions on how to request a donated uniform.
  • Remember that any Boy Scouts of America uniform from any era may still be worn as an official Scouting uniform, provided it is in good condition and fits correctly (see page 10, Discontinued Uniforms and Insignia/Special Regulations, of the BSA Guide to Awards and Insignia).

Equipment
