Make a Difference in a Child's Life
There is a real shortage of opportunities for young people to safely experience what it’s like to learn from “failure,” while making new friends. Scouting delivers on this and more, but only because there are volunteer leaders and adults who volunteer their time each month. You can make a real difference in a child’s life by being the Scouting leader who is there to encourage, offer advice, or just remind them to have fun. You don’t have to be an expert in the outdoors – you just have to want to help.
One of the most amazing results of the Scouting program is how its values lead to greater volunteerism, civic participation and community service among its participants later in life. If you want to make a difference for future generations, you can’t do better than helping us run our program and support activities that encourage kids to do their best, respect our natural resources, and serve others
Scouting needs all kinds of volunteer help to support the program, working directly with our youth members but also in ways that don’t involve actively leading a group of Scouts. It doesn’t matter if you were a Scout growing up, either. Please fill out the form below and we’ll be happy to put your talents to work for our community’s youth.
