Pistol Instructor Training
This is a two-phase training and participants must attend both phases. The course is limited to Scouting volunteers who are already certified National Rifle Association (NRA) instructors (either rifle, shotgun or muzzleloading). Course includes classroom and range time, and is intended only for Venturing, Sea Scouting, or Exploring adult leaders.
In addition to the course fee of $80.00, upon completion of the course, participants must register with the NRA to become certified (registering is not the same as joining). There is a $30-$50 fee to register; if you are an NRA member, you will pay the lower amount.
